Raymond Thomas,
Katrina Corps Co-Founder
Field Director
With a lifelong connection to New Orleans Mr. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Public Health from Oakland University in 1994. He worked with advancing technology programs in the state Michigan for eight years, eventually becoming a Sort Manager at Federal Express, until that company released him to pursue his desire to help in the Gulf Region. Mr. Thomas has three children.

Marshall Gochenour,
Worksite Coordinator
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mr. Gochenour is currently attending University of New Orleans. He is enrolled part-time in the Public Administration Bachelor’s degree program. Mr. Gochenour served as a Big Brother in Michigan, ran a restaurant for two years and brings a wealth of experience motivating and organizing volunteers.

Annie Watson,
Board of Directors
President, Annie Watson’s Studios, in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has been actively involved with the recovery since 2007. Annie has been instrumental in raising awareness and fund raising opportunities for the region. Mrs. Watson has one daughter who attends Tulane University.

Troy Peloquin
Board of Directors
Mr. Peloquin has extensive experience in the field of community organizing. As a native New Orleanians is very active in the New Orleans Public School system including serving as a science teacher and volunteer coordinator and many other activities. He has also done extensive volunteer work with several local organizations and has an expansive knowledge of the New Orleans public service community.

Kim Bandy,
Board of Directors
Earned her M.A. from Howard University. As Sr. Specialist of Office of civil right and liberties for the transportation security administration, department of homeland security, Ms. Bandy has an extensive past of volunteering for several organizations

Chamika Ellis,
Board of Directors
Residence Life Advisor for Catholic University of America graduated from Arkansas University with a Masters in Social Work. Ms. Ellis has volunteered throughout the gulf region years following hurricane Katrina and Rita.

Ellen Chang,
Board of Directors
Senior Advisor for Global Procurement for Chevron Services Company, A division of Chevron USA Inc. Ellen has donates her time regularly and uses her expertise to get discounts on much needed items for the recovery.

Paul Kuhn,
Board of Directors
Mr. Kuhn volunteers regularly and is a Peace Corps candidate for 2010. He is pursuant of a Masters degree from the University of Akron in non-profit management. Paul is also the vice president of the PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND URBAN STUDIES STUDENT ASSOCIATION.
