Volunteer Letter: Sarah

Hey everyone,

Working with Katrina Corps was amazing! Honestly you said to write a small letter to let you know how I felt about it would be impossible. I learned so much, made amazing friends, and felt incredible about the work we accomplished. I think some of us have mentioned that we would like to come back this summer or fall. Most colleges have a fall break too so we were hoping we could bring up the option of coming back in the fall. We have done a follow-up article in the Chips newspaper on campus and I am telling everyone I know about my experience there and how I suggest to anyone who can do it should because it was probably one of the best accomplishments of my life and I want to so it over and over again until everyone I know knows how it feels. Man that was one big run on sentence. Anyways like I said, I met the best friends I could have hoped for, too bad they didn’t all live in Iowa. I learned so much about New Orleans, the people there, and so much more.

P.S. If there is anything specific that would like to be asked, I will be happy to answer it. This is the shortest and sweetest way I could put my experience otherwise you would be reading a book.
