Today I spoke with 2 different people about all of the work that needs to be done down here. One used to be a tour guide here in New Orleans before Katrina and the other is a gutter with ACORN who hails from around Chicago. In the course of our conversations, both said independently:
“Volunteers are the only way this is going to get done!”
